I was born in Quebec City in 1965. Since my childhood, I have always shown great interest in drawing and oil painting. Piano, ballet, acting and figure skating were other enriching activities that I carried out throughout my scholar years.
I completed a B.A. in Theater from Ottawa University and, as a member of l’Union des artistes, experienced professional acting in Montreal for some years. After taking time to raise three beautiful children, I then decided to go back to one of my deepest passion, oil painting. It struck me then when I realized all the beneficial effects it had on my daily activities and best of it, what this cultural richness is bringing now to my three teenagers.
I find that my creativity gives me freedom to express myself in everything I do. Through experimentation, it helps me understand all the sensitivity and emotion that surround me.
Even as the Manager of the Kulik Art Inuit Gallery located in the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City, I am always working on new challenging artistic projects and have participated in many solo and group exhibitions since 2004.
My work can be found at the St-Laurent Art Center in Ile d’Orléans and Baron, Lafrenière Gallery in Old Quebec.
