Artistic Approach
I find my inspiration in the movement and rhythm of the music, in the « dripping » by Jackson Pollock and in the spontaneous mood.
My technique is called “the blur” and is executed in two phases.
The first step is a spontaneous movement that permits what is hidden in the subconscious to burst out and gives a dynamic touch to my work. The gesture orients the subject.
The second phase is an exercise of adjustment to the pattern left by the “dripping” on the canvas. I paint between the dripped forms and colors; a story, an emotion and surreal atmosphere.
“The blur” that first appears to the observer, is an emotional screen that disguise reality. The superposition of the two images on the same canvas, one more abstract and the second more figurative, brings the observer to always discover new feelings. The observer lives and breathes at the present time while he discovers what is hidden behind the abstraction.
It is a meeting between the eye and the cellular memory, between the visible and the invisible.
Energy is the origin of the movement and the image of this energy is called atom. The atom is the framework of the universe and holds in its core an enormous strength.
Threw my work, I try to make the movement and the strength of the energy visible, this energy that binds us together and with the universe.
Living intensely the present time will allow us to live simply in this world where the tendency is to complexity.
